A very fine crinoid from the Mississippian of Indiana. Overall
specimen length is 10 inches (cup plus arms about 4.5 by 1.5
inches). A large cup with well-defined plates. Arms are biserial and
nicely defined and the stem is attached to the cup. |

interesting piece (3.5 by 2.75 inches) with two different fossils
from the Mississippian of Missouri. Nicely centered on the plate, a
fine example of Steganocrinus pentagonus,
accompanied by the blastoid Schizoblastus
sayi. Both fossils are well-preserved and are positioned on a piece
of crinoidal limestone. Great contrast between the fossils and
matrix.

seven very nice shrimp fossils and an unidentified fish. The shrimp
are in an excellent state of preservation with legs, body segments,
tail and eyes easily discernible (some darkening of the eyes, etc.
for contrast). Fossils from this area will probably be difficult to
obtain in the coming months, due to the political situation in
Lebanon. |
